Strength Training

Strength Training means just that, getting stronger than you currently are.  Kettlebells are my go to when it comes to adding loads and learning the secrets of strength.  With qualified instruction, kettlebell is safe for anyone who wants to get stronger.

Strong First 

Since 2009, I have been a certified Hardstyle Kettlebell Instructor, (SFG1).  Strength is a skill.  Like any skill, it can be taught and learned.  The skills I teach are basic and simple.  They are not easy, but these principles, when followed, will lead to gains in strength.  Strength leads to doing more of the things you want to do.  

Cardiovascular Conditioning 

The Hardstyle Kettlebell Swing burns approximately 22 calories per minute.  That is about the equivalent of running a 6 minute mile, without the impact on the joints!  Learning to properly swing a kettlebell trains strength, cardio, and flexibility all at the SAME TIME.

Endurance and Resilience 

Another benefit of Hardstyle Kettlebell Training is the endurance and resilience that comes along with it.  By virtue of their design, kettlebells safely build endurance for sports, and for an active lifestyle.  They also build in resilience to injury, and as we age this becomes even more important!  "Train Hardstyle, and do your sport."  Many of my clients' and students' sport is life.  Healthy, happy, active life.
